Competition Rules
1. Competitions are open to anyone based in the UK except for employees of Talgenie and connected companies
2. All competitions have a closing date
3. All competitions on Talgenie are free to enter. However participants are expected to pay their own cost of connecting to the web site, or where competitions are phone based, the standard cost of the phone call or SMS message
4. Winners of the competition will be notified by e-mail within one week of the closing date of the competition except where competitions are jointly offered with a third party. In this case, winners will be notified once the third party has drawn the winner. Should the e-mail bounce, an attempt to contact the winner will also be made via their personal account. If contact cannot be made within one month, the prize will be lost.
5. Prizes may be offered by Talgenie or by other companies and these prizes may appear across other websites and other advertising media. Talgenie makes all efforts to ensure that only bona fide prizes are offered.
6. Unless otherwise stated, Talgenie reserves the right to substitute a cash amount for the chosen prize or a substantially equivalent value. This is at Talgenie's discretion. Otherwise prizes are as stated
7. On registering with Talgenie and when entering any competition, each applicant agrees to receive information containing, but not limited to, market research and advertising from 3rd parties via e-mail, SMS, telephone, postal and other channels that is appropriate given the answers to the questions on each competition.
8. Winners of the competitions will be displayed on the web site as title surname area e.g. Mr Willis from Stafford. Winners will be deemed to give Talgenie a perpetual irrevocable license to use their names or images in future promotions.
9. Competitions may be subject to additional rules. If so, these additional rules will be listed in the special terms and conditions buttons on the relevant competition entry page
10. Registration for Talgenie is also subject to our privacy policy
